Sound Prediction Inc. is a health technology company headquartered in Columbus, OH, operating virtually across the continental United States. We build Glance, a health data platform used by providers, ACOs, and individuals to aggregate, normalize, and act on medical records from any source.
We work closely with our research partners, including Mederrata Research, to ensure our products are grounded in rigorous methodology and clinical evidence.
What We Do
Our flagship product, Glance, solves the core problem in healthcare data: fragmentation. Medical records are scattered across EHRs, claims systems, pharmacies, patient portals, and wearable devices — each using different coding standards and proprietary formats.
Glance connects to all of these sources, normalizes everything to the OMOP Common Data Model, and provides the analytics layer that makes the data clinically actionable. For providers and ACOs, that means CMS DPC integration, SMART on FHIR EHR connectivity, quality measure computation, HCC risk coding, care gap identification, and financial decision support. For individuals, it means a unified personal health record with lab interpretation, medication tracking, cost transparency, and true data ownership.
We are a registered CMS Data at the Point of Care partner vendor and support organizations through the full DPC onboarding process.
History
We formed in 2018, initially as Mederrata Inc., with a focus on using informatics to reduce medical error. In 2019, we won entry into the CMS AI Health Innovations Challenge. At the time, we were a collective of contributors with day-jobs at the National Institutes of Health.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we began productizing our research into data pipelines and user interfaces. That work became Glance — a platform that brings together our expertise in clinical data standards, Bayesian modeling, and healthcare interoperability into a single product serving both the provider and patient sides of the care equation.
Today, Glance is live and serving organizations transitioning to value-based care, as well as individuals who want to understand and own their complete health record.

- FHIR R4 / STU3 for EHR interoperability
- DuckDB for high-performance vocabulary queries and analytics
- Flutter for cross-platform applications (iOS, Android, macOS, web)
- Go backend with HIPAA-compliant audit logging
- OAuth2 / SMART on FHIR for secure authentication
